Some entrepreneurs design moon landers, others build Internet search engines.

Barney Pell’s done both and now has a new startup focused on parking. A former NASA executive turned entrepreneur, Pell cofounded Powerset, a natural language search engine that was acquired by Microsoft in 2008 for a reported $100 million. Then he cofounded Moon Express, a company that is designing a new kind of moon lander. Now Pell is CEO of startup QuickPay.
